LAHINCH YOGA STUDIO - Strength / Flexibility / Inner Peace
NAMASTE - WELCOME

Born In Lahinch Co.Clare Ireland and after finishing school in Lahinch/Ennistymon went to work in London. I took up yoga in 1996 the effect was electric: optimism and energy.  Yoga has been a sustaining and integral part of my life ever since.
Newly energised but still naive, I went on to study yoga further in 2000,  I did my 3 year teaching diploma with British Wheel Of Yoga.  There are many many different branches of Yoga and the one I concentrate on is HATHA YOGA.  HA means the Sun, THA means the moon and YOGA in Sanskrit means to unite.  This Yoga is the harmonising and uniting of the “sun” and “moon” side of our personality, healthy joining of opposites and working towards bringing the body, mind and breath into harmony and balance.

Hatha Yoga seeks to promote health and well-being through physical exercise.  The regular practise of asanas (postures), and pranayama (breathing exercises), makes the body strong, supple and healthy.

I currently  run yoga classes for Beginners Yoga classes Level 1,Beginners Yoga classes Level 2, Intermediate Yoga classes andOver 50's Yoga Classes.  I  am also fully qualified in teaching Yoga For Pregnancy and run 6week Pregnancy Yoga courses periodically.
Yoga For Kids and Mother and Baby Yoga.

I cater for visitors by offering "Drop In Classes" which also gives you the opportunity to try  Hatha Yoga without having to commit to a course.

You can call me Helen Rich on mb:086 894 0254 to register a place.

Whether you come to Lahinch to play golf, surf or just enjoy the seaside, I hope you go away relaxed and energised after a visit to one of  my yoga classes in the bright and airy  purpose built yoga studio on Station Road Lahinch.  5min walk from the beach , Lahinch, Co.Clare.  Cliffs of Mohers 3km, the magnificent Burren 10km, Doolin, Aran Islands, Ailwee cave all these great sights within a half hour travelling.
